CHILDREN’S SUMMER READINGNothings stops the Summer Reading Club! We may be doing things a bit differently this year, but you will still be earning rewards as you “Imagine Your Story”. Online registration and logging begin Monday, June 22 at 10am on our READSquared homepage. You will find all the details about the Reading Club there and on our Summer Reading Guide. The Children’s Department will host a LIVE Q&A on Friday, June 19 at 8pm to answer questions you have about the reading club or other programs this summer. Register here to get an invitation. CURBSIDE PICKUPWe’re pleased to offer access to Nanuet Public Library materials again! Curbside pickup begins Monday, June 22. Request materials in advance and come pick them up at your scheduled time. Time slots will be available: Monday-Thursday 11am - 7:30pm and Friday - Saturday 11am - 3:30pm. HOW TO REQUEST MATERIALS FOR CURBSIDE PICKUPPlace holds on materials using the online catalog or RCLS Gateway app, or by phone at 845-623-4281. We are able to fill holds on Nanuet Public Library materials only. Wait until you are notified that your items are ready for pickup. We will schedule a curbside appointment for you. When you arrive, pull up to the building, call to let us know you’re here, and hold up your card so we can see the barcode through your car window. RETURNS AND DUE DATESOur bookdrop is open. If you have items to return, please park your car, wear a mask, and place materials in the bookdrop. Due dates have been extended to June 30. Returned items will be quarantined for 7 days before being checked in. All overdue fines have been waived during this time. We are not accepting donations at this time. If you have a Buddy Backpack, please call the library before returning. HEALTH & SAFETY PRECAUTIONSThe well-being of our community and staff is always a high priority.
